Lori Tryon graduated from Kutztown University in Pennsylvania in 1988 with a degree in Education and a specialization in Speech Language Pathology. She worked for seven years in New Jersey as a Speech Therapist before moving to North Carolina with her husband. Ms. Tryon is a Registered Therapeutic Riding Instructor with PATH International (formally NARAH) and has started her own business developing instructional materials for therapeutic riding instructors. She also has served as an advocate for families with children seeking or already involved with Special Education. Most recently, Ms. Tryon was the director of a Homework Assistance program at a local private school for students struggling with school as well as a substitute teacher. On a more personal note, Ms. Tryon is married to Barry, who works for Cisco Systems. They have two wonderful daughters—Brenna and Keelin. They also have two Mastiffs.
